This page covers AF Hub Reviews, an internal tool used by the management of Anytime Fitness clubs in Singapore and Malaysia. It is not a product, it is not offered to the public, and nobody signs up to it.
The clubs are run by two companies, and which one holds your information depends on which club you use:
It connects to our own Google Business Profile account and reads the reviews people have left on our clubs' Google listings. New reviews are posted into the relevant club's private staff chat so the team sees them promptly.
The purpose is to run the clubs well: to see what members say, to put things right, and to tell the team when they have been praised. It is not used for anything else.
All of this is already public on Google Maps. The tool reads it; it does not collect anything a reviewer has not already chosen to publish, and it asks reviewers for nothing.
Only the staff of the club a review is about, in that club's own private chat.
The two countries are kept apart. Staff at a Singapore club cannot see Malaysian members' information, and staff at a Malaysian club cannot see Singaporean members' information. Access is granted per club, or at most for one country.
The exception is a small number of owner and senior management accounts which oversee both companies. Nobody else crosses between them.
Reviews are kept for as long as we operate the club, so a club can see its own history and answer from it. Ask us to remove something and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, and ask us to correct anything inaccurate. Write to your club, below. We will reply as soon as we can, and in any case within the time the law where your club is allows. There may be a fee for a copy where the law permits one, and we will tell you before any charge is made.
A review you left on Google is yours, on Google. You can edit or delete it there at any time, and we will stop seeing it.
The Google account that authorises this tool is the account that manages our Business Profile listings, and only the owner of that account can authorise it. Access can be withdrawn at any time from Google account permissions, which stops the tool immediately.
For the Singapore clubs, the Data Protection Officer is Ben Ng, reachable at ben@calgenie.sg. Write to him about anything on this page you are not satisfied with, or if you would rather not go through your club.
Questions about this page, or a request to have something removed, go to your club — they are the people who can act on it.
